Blog Tour!: The Kooky Kids’ Club by Robbie Yates

I disappeared for almost a month, “what have you been doing?!”, you might ask. I made art and crafted every single day!, and now it comes to me I could have blogged about it as well. Once I start a project I get so immersed in it, that I forget everything else!. As part of the Kooky Kids’ Club, I’ll show you my creations tomorrow. Oh, you don’t know that club? Then by all means keep reading! Warning: A highly recommended book approaches!

Maxine is smart, quirky, and a bit of a misfit. One day, she receives a mysterious invitation to a meeting of the “Kooky Kids’ Club.”

Things are looking bright. It’s nice to finally have a real group of friends. Then Maxine’s teacher disappears.

Maxine doesn’t know what happened to her beloved teacher, or how she can help. But if anybody has the smarts to help Miss Thompson, it’s Maxine and the Kooky Kids’ Club…

This quirky chapter book is for the best kind of kids—the ones who are a little bit kooky!

Hi there! Did the story get your attention? I loved it with all my heart. It’s beautifully written and I identified with Maxine right away! I giggled when she mentioned having embarrassing “Maxine moments” I was like “ohh yep, I know what you mean girl~” like Frida Kahlo said: “Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you”. This is a really heartwarming book for kids and adults alike. I recommend it for yourself or as gift for the wonderful kids in your life.

Thanks Shalini for the opportunity to be part of this tour and thank you Robbie for creating great stories!.
